Pre-K Program

The Kindergarten program is designed for children 4 - 5 years. We work with the children and help them grow and become active explorers.

Our Pre-K program is especially designed for your 4 to 5 year old. We offer the kindergarten program to our children who wish to continue the Montessori schooling through kindergarten. The program helps them to master their interest in math, reading and writing before they move into 1st grade in public and private schools. This program is also offered to any child who wishes to experience Montessori learning before moving on to 1st grade. Listed below are examples of the lessons that are taught:

  • Sounds, letters, letterbox, Phonetic words, flash cards, reading books.

  • Numbers with quantities up to 1000, decimal system, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with 1, 2 and 3 digit numbers.

  • Writing upper and lower case letters of the alphabet and numbers 1 - 1000

  • Spelling, word lists, word building

  • Spanish – colors, numbers, shapes, animals, etc.

  • Science – human body, animal and plant classifications, etc.

  • Geography – countries, land formations, continents, oceans, states and flags.

  • People around the world and their habitats including their holiday celebrations.

  • Reading time and counting money

  • Art – painting, collage, drawing, printing, molding, etc.

  • Sign Language
